Great restaurant! I can only recommend this restaurant delicious food, nice staff and great atmosphere. However, a reservation would be recommended as this great restaurant is rightly well attended. The rib marinade is particularly delicious. I can only recommend it 👍💪🔥

It was wonderful, well set, the menu was great, very nice space, but only 3 points, because we had to wait 40 minutes for the drinks, we had already eaten and in the end we waived the drinks we had ordered, paid and then leave the room - we didn't think that was very nice and also no farewell greeting or a thank you, or how do you like it? Nothing. I do not recommend it to anyone, sorry

A real highlight in 2 days in Eisenach. You immerse yourself in a time that we have never known. If you are a fan of the Middle Ages and don't miss a Middle Ages market, you should also take a look here. It is worth it! With a lot of details and a lot of passion you will be kidnapped into the past. Nice ambience (e.g. candlelight everywhere), great service (there were no clamps or stick blows necessary) and delicious food. We will definitely be back and recommend it with a clear conscience.

Very nice atmosphere. The service was very friendly. There was a slight delay with the meal, apparently due to a new waitress, but that was absolutely bearable as the colleagues recognized the problem and quickly helped. There was also a small schnapps on the house. Perfect solution. The food was also very tasty and quite hearty. Only the drink prices were very high. All in all very recommendable. Overall package is right!

Food and atmosphere really great. A star trigger for a very long waiting time. But got a schnapps in between. Overall, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. But would go there again with enough time.

Great ambience, dining by candlelight, actually gives the impression of being in another age. Unfortunately we waited over 1 hour for our food, we had to remind us of drinks, because one thing was forgotten at first. The food was unfortunately lukewarm or cold when we got it. In terms of taste, however, it is good. Two drinks were waived, but that didn't make up for the sobering restaurant experience.

We had a reservation for 9 people at 7pm and had to wait over 2 hours for the food to arrive. We got bread again as "consolation. The food was ok, but nothing special. I asked for chips for my daughter and they weren't available anymore. The ambience is great, but very dark so you can hardly read the menu.

We will not stop at this restaurant again. We were in Eisenach for a day and, according to the reviews, we chose this restaurant. Unfortunately. We were the only guests who decided to sit outside. According to the waiter, that was probably the problem that we were forgotten with everything. Wait 20 minutes for the cards to arrive, another 20 minutes for us to order. Again about 15 minutes until at least the drinks came. By then it was already getting dark. Then after almost 30 minutes the food came. Fortunately it was dark. My Rolade, with the "special" filling 🙄, was so small for 17.50 € that I would not have found it on my plate immediately, even in daylight. The red cabbage was very acidic. And my husband's suckling pig was incredibly tough. After 20 minutes after eating, I even had to let them know that we were done. When eating, I also noticed that we hadn't even received the starter included in the price. I also addressed this at the same time and was confirmed to me. After 10 minutes the waiter finally cleared away the plates and generously waived us the drinks worth € 7.50. Paying was the quickest with just under 6 minutes. Unfortunately, a bad end to a wonderful day of vacation, I have probably never eaten worse for 30 €. Eisenach would be happy to go back, I'd rather not eat in the Lutherstuben any more. Too bad.

Great atmosphere, very medieval, loved the candles and clay jugs and drinking horns. Only slight problem was that the menu was a bit hard to read under candlelight. Food was fabulous. Had ribs which was wonderfully glazed, juicy suckling pig roast. Sides were perfect too. Price is about the same as other restaurants.

Saturday evening, restaurant full,, fear the worst but no! There were at least 5 men and women in the service extremely courteous and quick to serve. The food was there 30 minutes after ordering, drinks after 10 minutes. Ambience and food anyway 5 stars. Clear recommendation.

Had previously made a reservation with a voucher and although something went wrong technically, we were easily assigned a GREAT DECORATED table and a very charming waitress. The 3-course menu was great and the medieval atmosphere was really great. The young service staff was super sweet and attentive.

good, humorous service. staff, ambience and top food deserve 6 stars. large and very tasty portions. excellent coordination of kitchen, service, costumes incl. matching mask and ambience. it doesn't get any better.

Ambience very nice, service very friendly. Eat okay. But unfortunately we got our first drinks there after 25 minutes. We had a 3 course meal, then a salad, waited 20 minutes for the main course, then waited again for 30 minutes, then we stopped eating because our drinks and dessert hadn't come. It was also a very hot day when you were a little more thirsty. Then sat there for almost two hours and only one drink was very annoying.

That was really an experience in a class of its own. Everything was so impressive, the friendly service, who always ensured good entertainment, the ambience, which took me back to the Middle Ages and sometimes aroused a smile but also astonishment and of course the dishes, which were really something extraordinary, different. We had our candle light dinner here today, I really enjoyed it and will always be remembered. Thank you very much for that.

Good food, understaffed

Wonderful place for medieval lovers, good and service just appropriate. Even the toilets are a nice place to visit, I loved having dinner in here. Thinking of this place for my marriage toast.

One in a livetime experiance. A must do for all tourist!
